    Get PDF
Recently, there are two mainly methods for SMEs operating cross-border e-commerce in China. One is online store of firms via the cross-border third party platform. The other is the online store of firms built by themselves for export markets expansion. Based on the analysis of cross-border e-commerce process, we explore four factors which may affect the mode selection of cross-border e-commerce of SMEs, namely E-marketing, electronic payment, electronic customs and international logistics. For the methodology, we use Probit model of Logit modeling and then have the finding that the three factors E-marketing, electronic customs and international logistics are the impact of SMEs cross-border e-commerce mode selection, and further find that most of SMEs who are weak at cross-border e-commerce operation stay on third party cross-border e-commerce service platform. Based on the finding, we also have some conclusion. In order to assist SMEs development, the government should establish and improve the trade informational platform. Meanwhile, they should encourage the cross-border e-commerce third-party platform to become bigger and stronger and improve electronic customs clearance continuously to raise large scale cross-border logistic firms and third parties with good service, strong competition and high technologies. For the SMEs, they should adopt the third party cross-border e-commerce platform actively. Some firms should have their own cross-border websites for opening cross-border e-commerce channel actively

A Scale for B2B eCommerce Website Customer Satisfaction

    Get PDF
Business to Business (B2B) e-commerce has become increasingly important in e-commerce. However there is little research on the definition and evaluation of user satisfaction with B2B website. Traditional scales, like User Information Satisfaction (UIS), End-User Computer Satisfaction (EUCS) and Customer Information Satisfaction (CIS) focus on the individual users of Information System (IS) and are not suitable to the B2B business environment. In this article, we establishe a scale of B2B Ecommerce Website Customer Satisfaction (B2B-ECWCS) with five dimensions and highlight the significant factors in the B2B-ECWCS scale. We then present the results of testing and validating the scale with customer data of Alibaba, the largest B2B business in China

Numerical analysis of aeroelastic characteristics of airship envelope

Stratospheric airship has great advantages, such as long-endurance, large coverage area, low-cost and so on, these advantages make airship be an ideal stratospheric platform and become highly valued. Airship envelope is a large inflatable membrane structure. As a key component, the envelope features flexible and large displacement. There is strong coupling between envelope structure and the ambient air when airship operating in the high altitude sky. The coupling characteristics have great impact on the aerodynamic and structural performance of airship. Aiming at the aeroelastic characteristics of the envelope structure, a fluid-structure coupled computational method is presented basing on a finite element program. As an example, the envelope structure of airship is computed and the S-A turbulent model is used. The envelope drag coefficient under different attack angle is computed. The contrast between experimental results coming from reference paper and numerical results highlight the correctness of this method. With the developed computational approach, the NPL envelope is also analyzed. The changes of length to diameter ratio, max cross section location and Reynolds number are studied and the aeroelastic characteristics of flexible envelope are analyzed. These results can give some valuable information for precise forecast of the overall airship performance

The Important of Enjoyment and Mobility for Continuance with Mobile Data Services

    Get PDF
This paper investigates the factors impacting users continuance intentions on using mobile data services. Specifically, a second-stage continuance model is revised and tested with a focus on both hedonic and utilitarian needs. The constructs of enjoyment and mobility are used to derive a set of hypotheses. An instrument is developed to collect data from 607 subjects. Statistical analyses such as structural equation modeling are conducted on collected data for hypotheses testing. The findings show that both utilitarian mobility and enjoyment constructs help to predict continuance intention toward mobile data services through smart phones. The salience of disconfirmation and beliefs in mobility and enjoyment drives satisfaction and attitude changes toward continuance intentions. Moreover, perceived mobility, enjoyment and satisfaction constructs jointly explained almost 80 percent of the variance in post-usage attitude. Theoretical and practical implications are also presented and discussed

Facial occlusion is a difficulty in the field of face recognition. The lack of features caused by occlusion may reduce the face recognition rate greatly. How to extract the identified features from the occluded faces has a profound effect on face recognition. This chapter presents a Local Cycle Graph Structure (LCGS) operator, which makes full use of the information of the pixels around the target pixel with its neighborhood of 3 × 3. Thus, the recognition with the extracted features is more efficient. We apply the extreme learning machine (ELM) classifier to train and test the features extracted by LCGS algorithm. In the experiment, we use the olivetti research laboratory (ORL) database to simulate occlusion randomly and use the AR database for physical occlusion. Physical coverings include scarves and sunglasses. Experimental results demonstrate that our algorithm yields a state-of-the-art performance

The Application of Resonance-Enhanced Multiphoton Ionization Technique in Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry

    Get PDF
Gas chromatography resonance-enhanced multiphoton ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (GC/REMPI-TOFMS) using a nanosecond laser has been applied to analyze the 16 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). The excited-state lifetime, absorption characters, and energy of electronic states of the 16 PAHs were investigated to optimize the ionization yield. A river water sample pretreated by means of solid phase extraction was analyzed to evaluate the performance of the analytical instrument. The results suggested that REMPI is superior to electron impact ionization method for soft ionization and suppresses the background signal due to aliphatic hydrocarbons. Thus, GC/REMPI-TOFMS is a more reliable method for the determination of PAHs present in the environment

A PD-1 Inhibitor Induces Complete Response of Advanced Bladder Urothelial Carcinoma: A Case Report

    Get PDF
The prognosis of patients with advanced urothelial carcinoma is dismal. Platinum-based chemotherapy is still the main first-line treatment for advanced urothelial carcinoma, while immunotherapy can be used as a first-line treatment option for people who cannot tolerate platinum. Immunotherapy is preferred in the second-line treatment of bladder urothelial carcinoma. PD-1 inhibitors (Pembrolizumab, nivolumab and atezolizumab) and PD-L1 inhibitors (Ddurvalumab and avelumab) have not been approved for the treatment of advanced urothelial cancer in China. We describe a patient with advanced urothelial carcinoma experienced disease progression after gemcitabine chemotherapy. Following a treatment of domestic PD-1 inhibitor (sintilimab), the patient achieved a durable complete response with mild toxicity. This case indicates that PD-1 inhibitor sintilimab might be a second-line treatment choice for advanced urothelial carcinoma

Numerical Simulation Analysis and Experimental Research on Damping Performance of a Novel Magnetic Fluid Damper

Considering the low-frequency and large-amplitude vibration characteristics of the high-rise structure, a tuned magnetic fluid rolling-ball damper is proposed to suppress the vibration of the structure. By adjusting the external magnetic field to control the natural rolling frequency of the ball, the purpose of tuning vibration reduction is achieved. Firstly, the working principle of the damper is theoretically analysed, a three-dimensional (3D) magnetic-fluid-solid multiphysical field coupling mathematical model of the damper is established and the governing equations of multiphysical field coupling are derived. Secondly, the magnetic field distribution and operating characteristics of the damper are simulated and analysed. Finally, the effectiveness of the model is verified by experiments, and the damping performance of the damper with two kinds of magnetic fluid is tested and compared. The results show that the magnetic-fluid-solid multiphysical field coupling model can accurately simulate the working characteristics of the damper. The maximum damping force of the damper is about 12% of the elastic force of the structure, which can increase the damping ratio of the structure by about two times, effectively reduce the vibration response time, and suppress the vibration of the high-rise structure
